Us. We are Swash Franchise Limited, trading as Swash Window Cleaning in the UK ("we", "us" or “our”).

Our Franchisees. Each of our franchisees are own their businesses independently and each franchisee is responsible for being in compliance with regards to information protection. Nonetheless, we work closely with our franchisees, including the sharing of information and information with one and other to provide your services. For the sake of simplicity this policy explains how any personal information of yours is used once it is collected by us or the franchisees independently owned business that you have a professional relationship with (or who ever we might refer you to). The term "our franchisees" used by us in this policy refers to any particular franchisee and not our franchisee network in general.

The parties responsible, the (‘information controllers') are our franchisees. They hold your information relating to any queries or requests for quotes you send us, the transactions you enter into with our franchisees and any newsletters and marketing you have signed up to receive from us. We are also accountable for the operation of the website.

What information do we and our franchisees collect or hold?

  • Third parties or publicly available sources. We and our franchisees might receive personal information about you from various 3rd parties and public sources as listed below:

    • Contact, Financial and Transaction Information from providers of technical, payment and delivery services such as banks, credit card providers and companies allowing the taking of credit card payments based both inside and outside the EU.

Who is your information shared with?

  • Between us and our Franchisees. We and our franchisees share your personal information between us in order for our franchisees to be able to provide Swash Window Cleaning products and services to you, for us to be able to maintain a centralised information base of customers, for customer services, in order for us and the franchisees to be able to respond to complaints and enquiries, and for marketing purposes (provided you have opted-in). For example, if you communicate with our franchisees in relation to a quote or a contract for products or services or relating to any publications or marketing that franchisee produces, we receive from that franchisee any Identity, Contact, Financial, Transaction, and Marketing and Communications Information you provide to them or that they create relating to your account. Similarly, if you communicate with us to submit a request for a quote for products or services via the website, we pass on to our franchisees Identity, Contact, Financial, Transaction, and Marketing and Communications Information that is needed for our franchisees to provide the requested service.

  • Swash Franchise. We may share some of your personal information with other companies within Swash Franchise to administer and manage group functions, including for use of shared systems and platforms, business planning purposes and to assess the performance of the companies within Swash Franchise.

  • Service providers. Your personal information will also be shared with companies providing services under contract to us and our franchisees for all the reasons described above, such as payment processing and professional services providers, information analysts, IT service providers and research companies who help us and our franchisees provide products and services to you, and give us an insight into how we can better serve you and all of our other customers, professional advisors, and information technology providers.

What other rights do you have?
